The Zans nature adventure trail at the foot of the Odle peaks, starting directly at our mountain hut “Treffpunkt Zans”, leads through unspoilt forests and flowering alpine meadows to a wildlife enclosure. You can explore nature and find out about the landscape and culture of our region at several stations. Rest areas invite you to relax while you admire artistic wooden sculptures from the “Cherry tree” working area in Bolzano. The nature trail is also suitable for pushchairs.
The high ropes course is just a 15-minute walk from Weissbrunn and offers unlimited fun for young and old with 12 routes of varying difficulty and around 120 stations, including suspension bridges and 10 rope slides. A 14 metre high climbing tower and a barbecue area make the high ropes course the ideal excursion destination for the whole family.
The Nature Park Visitor Centre in S. Maddalena is the ideal place to explore the Dolomites with interactive exhibitions on geology, wildlife and culture. Highlights are the exhibitions “Touch the mountains” and the “Wonderland nature”, where children can go on a playful journey of discovery through South Tyrolean nature.
The Mineral Museum is located between Val di Funes and Val d’Isarco and is known for its unique Tiso spheres. With an impressive collection of minerals and regular special exhibitions, it offers the perfect setting for a relaxing family afternoon. The more adventurous can become active treasure hunters on guided hikes and search for the famous Tiso spheres.
